The Dirty South Band, Kayla McKinney to perform at FENCE

TRYON— A concert event is set to return after a fifteen-year hiatus. The Moon Howl concert will take place at FENCE on Saturday, September 7, where attendees will enjoy live music, dance under the stars, enjoy a variety of different vendors, and more.

The concert is aimed to benefit FENCE’s nature education and outdoor recreation programs. All proceeds will go towards these programs that help families learn about the great outdoors and take part in outdoor activities.

Set to headline the concert will be the Dirty South Band. This homegrown southern rock group has performed across the region at venues such as Harrah’s Cherokee Resort and the Radio Room in Greenville. Their unique sound and style have even led them to Mccaysville, Ga., Hampton, Va., and Mountain Home, Ark., to showcase their music. One of their most recent performances took place in Newport, Tenn., at the Popcorn Sutton Jam, an annual tradition where folks get together to honor the late great legend of moonshining.

When not on the road, The Dirty South Band plays local shows at Tryon International, Tryon Fine Arts Center, and more. They look forward to adding another great show while in their hometown at the Moon Howl concert.
