Chuckanut Brewery celebrates its 16th anniversary on July 27
Sixteen years of award-winning, pioneering beers at Chuckanut Brewery. Few breweries so immediately made a splash. Before most beer lovers around the Northwest had even heard of Chuckanut Brewery, it was winning medals at the most prestigious beer competition in the nation, the Great American Beer Festival (GABF). The brewery opened in 2008 and by 2009 it had won Small Brewery of the Year at the GABF. That was just the beginning. Over the years, Chuckanut Brewery has earned 26 GABF awards, 7 medals at the World Beer Cup, 52 medals at the Washington Beer Awards, and many other accolades.

We invite you to attend the ribbon cutting ceremony at Skykomish (Sky) River Park, 413 Sky River Pkwy, Monroe on Tuesday July 23 at 4:00 p.m. for the City of Monroe’s first two dedicated pickleball-only courts. The courts were funded from a portion of the City’s Council[1]approved Parks Capital Improvement Project (CIP) Fund; a fund supported by the sale of homes and the construction of new homes. We would also like to thank Snohomish County Councilmember Low for supporting a $10,000 Snohomish County Small Capital Projects Partnership grant to fund this project. This project stemmed from regular requests from the community to add dedicated pickleball courts in the City, and we are happy to announce these courts will be open to the public on a first come, first serve basis and include a permanent net.
