Bicyclist sustains serious injuries after hit-and-run collision Tuesday
A bicyclist sustained serious injuries after being struck by a motorist on SR 524 near Cypress Way in Lynnwood Tuesday morning. Washington State Patrol spokesperson Kelsey Harding reported that the bicyclist was immediately transported to Harborview Medical Center and has yet to be identified, though his injuries are not life-threatening.

News outlets are reporting that a 16-year-old teen has been charged in the shooting death of 13-year-old Jayda Woods-Johnson at Alderwood Mall July 3. KOMO TV reported that according to court records, Samuel Gizaw, 16, of Mukilteo, was charged late Tuesday afternoon with murder in the first degree, murder in the second degree, assault in the first degree, and unlawful possession of a firearm in the second degree.
