Teen arrested after 56-year-old man shot, killed at midtown Tulsa hotel

TULSA, Okla. — Police identified the man shot on Saturday night at a midtown Tulsa hotel as Bradley Wallingford.

Police also said they arrested a 17-year-old suspected of pulling the trigger, killing Wallingford.

Police said the shooting occurred around 10 p.m. Saturday at the Eagle Suites near East 51st Street South and South Yale Avenue.

While investigating the scene, officers found video of the suspect and served an arrest warrant Monday morning. While taking the suspect into custody, they found a pistol and are testing it to see if it matches the one used to shoot Wallingford.

Police said the teen suspect is a member of the Mashantucket Pequot Nation and TPD will work with the FBI in pursuing a charge of Murder in Indian Country.
