TPD execute search warrant at juvenile justice center

TULSA, Okla. — The Tulsa Police Department said they executed a search warrant at the Tulsa County Family Center for Juvenile Justice near Archer Guthrie in downtown Friday morning.

Tulsa Police said they executed the warrant in coordination with Tulsa County Sheriff's Office, the District Attorney's Office, Office of Juvenile Affairs and Homeland Security Investigations.

TPD said the warrant is related to several current investigations into misconduct at the center.

They said earlier this year, a former detention Officer was charged with multiple sex crimes , including two counts of Lewd Molestation and one count of Soliciting a Minor for Indecent Exposure.

Police said the Tulsa Police Special Victims Unit is investigating these crimes, and they will provide more information about the cases as it becomes available.
