    4 suspects held for questioning after man was shot in leg in Tulsa

    TULSA, Okla. — Four suspects were held for questioning by Tulsa Police after a man was shot in the leg near East 31st Street and South 129th East Avenue on Saturday.

    Police responded to the scene at around 6 p.m. and found the man on a sidewalk with injuries to his head and a gunshot wound to his leg.

    The man was treated at the scene by Tulsa Fire and was then taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

    Witnesses reported that the victim was being chased by people in an SUV.

    An officer patrolling the area near East 41st Street and South 129th East Avenue saw an SUV matching the description.

    After police stopped the vehicle, four people were detained.

    After a search of the suspects and the SUV, police found a large amount of meth, money and a pistol that police believe was used in the shooting.

    The officer learned that the shooting took place at a home a short distance from where the victim was found.

    Officers secured the home pending a search for any evidence it may have.

    Witnesses visually linked the suspects to the crime and they were being held for questioning.

    Police said arrests were likely after the interviews.
