    2 arrested in Mexico in connection to April east Tulsa murder

    UPDATE (7/25/24) — The Tulsa Police Department said two men were captured in Mexico in connection to a murder in east Tulsa on April 28.

    Police said 28-year-old Maximiliano Perez and 26-year-old Luis Perez are in custody in Fort Worth, Texas after being captured in Mexico and handed over to U.S. authorities.

    The brothers were wanted in connection to the April 28 murder of Antonio Rosales during a birthday party at an event center near 31st and Mingo.

    Police said the Perez brothers are currently detained in Tarrant County Jail, awaiting transfer to Tulsa.


    UPDATE (5/13/24) — Following a deadly shooting at an east Tulsa birthday party on April 28, two men charged with first degree murder have yet to be located. On Friday, Tulsa Police arrested a woman charged with accessory to murder.

    FOX23 reported Tulsa Police are searching for 28-year-old Maximilliano Perez after three people were shot, including 43-year-old Antonio Rosales who later died at the hospital, near 31st and Mingo on April 28.

    Maximilliano Perez and Luis Angel Perez have both been charged with first degree murder.

    According to an affidavit, Luis Angel Perez's girlfriend, Jasmine Macias, was arrested on Friday and charged with accessory to murder.

    After the shooting on April 28, Macias told police she didn't know where Perez was and that she ran from the party. Police issued a search warrant and found texts on her phone that showed she did know where he was and was trying to figure out the best thing for him to do. She had also researched flights to Mexico.

    UPDATE (4/30/24) — Tulsa Police are searching for a 28-year-old man identified as the murder suspect in the shooting near 31st and Mingo on Sunday.

    A warrant for first degree murder has been issued for Maximilliano Perez, 28.

    Three people were shot, including 43-year-old Antonio Rosales who later died at the hospital.

    Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Perez should call 911 or Tulsa Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS (2677). Reference case 2024-020791 when calling, Tulsa Police said.

    Police are investigating after they say a birthday party shooting left one dead and injured others in east Tulsa.

    According to police, just after midnight Sunday, officers responded to a shooting at an event center near 31st and Mingo.

    Police found 43-year-old Antonio Rosales with a gunshot wound to the chest. He was taken to the hospital where he later died.

    Two other wounded males were taken to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

    Detectives say the shooting happened at a birthday party. According to police, there was a large gathering for the party when an altercation broke out, leading to multiple people firing gunshots.

    Police say no arrests have been made and detectives are still investigating.
