Levittown Man Batters Girlfriend, Slams Her Son with Chair, Cops Say
A Levittown man is behind bars at Bucks County Correctional Facility (BCCF) Monday as he is accused of beating his significant other and hitting her son with a chair late Saturday. The assault played out at Pennsbury Woods Apartments on the 9100 block of New Falls Road in Falls Township.
Man attacked, stabbed at Falls apartment complex. The suspect got away
A 43-year-old Falls man is recovering after he was stabbed during a robbery attempt in an apartment complex parking lot early Saturday morning. Falls police responded to the Pennsbury Woods Apartment in the 900 block of New Falls Road around 1 a.m. June 29 for an attempted robbery and they found the injured man, according to police.

Scott sentenced for abandoning dog Nova
WILKES-BARRE — A Plymouth woman who admitted to taking part in abandoning a malnourished pit bull puppy named Nova in Pittston was granted immediate parole Monday. Luzerne County Judge Joseph F. Sklarosky Jr. sentenced Shaniqwa Shantel Scott, 25, to seven-days to 15 months at the county correctional facility on a misdemeanor charge of cruelty to animals. Scott pled guilty to the offense on March 11.
