    Tupelo officials Cook Coggins for engineering of Tulip Creek sewer improvements

    TUPELO — The City of Tupelo has spent much of this year improvement wastewater and drainage through myriad American Rescue Plan Act funding, but with more improvements on the horizon, city officials hope to secure another funding source for a project that would tie a portion of South Industrial Park under the Tupelo Water & Light system that was previously served by Verona.

    The Tupelo City Council voted unanimously among present members to approve a contract for engineering services to Tupelo-based Cook Coggin Engineers for the Tulip sewer improvement project, during a Tuesday night meeting.
