Coveted 4-star EDGE Prospect Commits To Premier SEC Program

Elite four-star EDGE Justin Hill announced his commitment to the Alabama Crimson Tide over Ohio State, USC, and Oregon on Wednesday.

Hill is a 6-foot-3, 220-pound native of Cincinnati, Ohio, attending Winton Woods High School, where he finished his junior season with 36 total tackles, 16 tackles for loss, and 13 sacks. Hill put together a breakout sophomore season with 42 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, 5.5 sacks, and one interception.

Hill is the No. 48 overall prospect and No. 6 edge rusher in the class of 2025. He ranks as the No. 1 EDGE and No. 4 player in Ohio, according to the On3 industry rankings .

Hill received 24 total offers and scheduled four official visits to Ohio State, Oregon, USC, and Alabama over the final month of his recruiting process.

Ohio State was a projected favorite to land Hill's commitment at 51.6 percent compared to Alabama's 43.1, according to On3's RPI.

Hill's commitment to the Tide is another big win for new head coach Kalen DeBoer, who continues the tradition of accruing top-tier recruits to join the Crimson Tide.

Alabama's 2025 recruiting class now has 22 pledges following the commitment of Hill, which includes 1 five-star, 15 four-star, and 5 three-star athletes.

The Tide's 2025 recruiting class is ranked No. 2 nationally and rises to No. 1 in the SEC, according to On3's 2025 Industry Recruiting Team Rankings .
