2026 5-star IOL Lamar Brown lists Alabama as recruiting finalist

The Alabama Crimson Tide are in the mix to land one of the nation’s top interior offensive lineman in the 2026 recruiting class. On Monday, 2026 five-star interior offensive lineman Lamar Brown listed Alabama as one of 12 finalists to land his commitment. Several SEC schools that also made the cut were Ole Miss, Texas A&M Aggies , LSU Tigers , and Tennessee Volunteers .

Brown plays for University Lab School in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He is listed at 6-foot-3.5 and 255 pounds. Brown’s high school teammate and 2025 prospect Keylan Moses is committed to LSU. As things stand, LSU is the favorite to land Brown’s commitment at 98.3%, according to On3’s RPM .

The Crimson Tide will try and get Brown on campus for a game this fall. The expectation is that Brown will announce his commitment on November 1 — his birthday. Will Alabama make a move for the Louisiana native?
