Caleb Cunningham is a highly sought after wide receiver in the 2025 class. The five star out of Chocktaw County High School in Ackerman, Miss., is already committed to Alabama , but there is reason to believe the door is still open in his recruitment.

Cunningham claims to be "1,000% committed" to head coach Kalen DeBoer and the Crimson Tide. However, On3's Joseph Hastings reports that the talented wideout will be making two visits to SEC rivals in August prior to finalizing his decision once and for all.

"People can talk, but I know I’m locked in. I’m not going anywhere," Cunningham told Hastings.

Ole Miss and Auburn are the two SEC schools on Cunningham's short list. In fairness to Cunningham, he could be making these two trips due to the fact that programs now pay recruits to take visits thanks to the flourishing NIL funds. But, for Lane Kiffin and Ole Miss, it's a final opportunity to lock up the No. 1 player in the state of Mississippi and No. 2 wide receiver in the nation, per On3's Industry Rankings .

The Rebels have just one wide receiver committed to its 2025 class, so Cunningham's addition will catapult Ole Miss' 28th-ranked recruiting class. If Kiffin can pull off a miracle and flip Cunningham, it would effectively send a message to DeBoer, who has hit the ground running on the recruiting trails in his first offseason at Alabama.
