The college football season is almost here, so the sport's biggest stars are making sure to get their vacations in before practices start back up.

Alabama Crimson Tide quarterback Jalen Milroe decided to spend some time in the Big Apple, even taking the time to go to a New York Yankees game. The team allowed him to attend batting practice, where he got to meet MLB superstar Aaron Judge.

The two did a gift exchange during their meeting. In exchange for a signed bat from Judge, Milroe gifted the superstar slugger a custom Alabama jersey with his signature No. 99. Chris Kirschner with The Athletic was able to capture the gift exchange on X.

Milroe is still getting acclimated to fame. The former 4-star recruit in 2021 out of Texas didn't get his opportunity to start or the Crimson Tide until this past season.

Things didn't get off to the best start for Milroe. However, he eventually found his footing and finished on such a hot streak that he finished sixth in Heisman Trophy voting . He earned second-team All-SEC honors after throwing for 2,834 yards, 23 touchdowns, and six interceptions while rushing for another 531 yards and 12 scores.

Expectations are even higher for Milroe in 2024. However, he'll have a new supporting cast around him while expected to take a step forward. Jermaine Burton left for the NFL, Nick Saban was replaced by a new head coach in Kalen DeBoer, and his most exciting receiver in Isaiah Bond transferred to the Texas Longhorns.

A lot of Alabama's success will depend on what version of Milroe the team gets. There are too many unknown factors, but Crimson Tide fans will get a better idea of what to expect after the team's season opener against Western Kentucky on August 31.
