36 days until Alabama football kicks off the 2024 season

In 36 days, Kalen DeBoer will usher in a new era of Alabama Crimson Tide football, replacing the legendary Nick Saban as head coach in Tuscaloosa.

Coach DeBoer and the Crimson Tide will take on the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers on Aug. 31 to kick off the 2024 college football season inside Bryant-Denny Stadium.

At Roll Tide Wire, we will count down the days until Alabama football takes the field.

The No. 36 has not been a very popular number throughout the years so with 36 days remaining we look at a former member of the Crimson Tide to wear No. 36, Chris Jordan.

Jordan played a reserve linebacker role for Alabama from 2008-2011 and finished his Tide career with 33 total tackles.

Freshman linebacker QB Reese currently wears No. 36 for the Crimson Tide.
