The caution flying on lap 12 allowed Flannery to keep his top spot, but Gada would get swallowed up by the field. This allowed Andrew Molleur to enter the conversation. Molleur methodically moved by Janovic with 15 laps to go, setting his sights on Flannery. Even with lapped traffic in the mix, Flannery was able to hold off inside and outside attacks from Molleur over the remainder of the event, earning him his second win of the season and denying Molleur from going back to back.
