An athletic trainer was at football practice the morning a 16-year-old student collapsed at Franklin High School last week, according to a school system spokesperson. Leslie Noble, a junior guard on the Reisterstown school’s varsity football team, was transported Wednesday to a local hospital in critical condition and died. First responders with the Baltimore County Fire Department had arrived around 9:15 a.m. to the football field, where resuscitation efforts were ongoing.
