John Deere announces workforce reduction impacting salaried workers
IOWA (KWWL) -- John Deere is planning to cut some salaried employees from its workforce beginning next week, according to an email sent to workers. In the email KWWL obtained, the company says that an employee meeting will be held on Wednesday, July 24 at 7:30 a.m. A new round of workforce reductions is expected.

New Richland set for new garbage, recycling contract and updated utility fees
With the current contract set to expire next March, the New Richland City Council is preparing to put out a request for proposal for garbage and recycling services by the end of the month.
