USPS: ‘Real mess’ at the Twisp Post Office is being cleaned up

Navy approves expanded aircraft training area over the Methow
Military aircraft from Naval Air Station (NAS) Whidbey Island can start using an expanded flight area over the Methow Valley and nearby mountains to train pilots. The proposed expansion of the training area won’t have a significant impact on the quality of the human or natural environment, the Navy found after its own research and a review of more than 6,000 public comments. NAS Whidbey issued the decision on June 27.
