TYBEE ISLAND, Ga. (WSAV) – The Tybee Island Police Department (TIPD) is asking for help to identify two possible credit card thieves.

On Saturday, June 15th, two separate vehicles between 6th and 8th Streets (Beachside) had credit cards stolen from them.

Later that day, the suspects used both cards to make over $6,000 worth of purchases from a store in Savannah. While conducting an investigation, TIPD received the attached image from that store.

Officials believe that the individuals in the white and black “bucket hats” have important information in regard to this incident. As a result, detectives are considering them “Persons of Interest” in the investigation.

If you know these individuals or have pertinent information to share, please call the Tybee Island Police Department at (912)786-5600 or email Detective Armando Villegas at Armando.Villegas@cityoftybee.gov
