Knox man accused of child endangerment while driving
Joshua Marshall, a 33-year-old man from Knox, faces multiple endangerment charges after an incident involving his pregnant girlfriend and her two young daughters. On July 15, the woman, who is 15 weeks pregnant with Marshall’s child, called the police in distress, reporting that Marshall was driving recklessly with her and her daughters, aged one and three, in the vehicle. The complaint states that an argument over his driving led Marshall to abruptly pull off the road, causing the woman to hit her head. Marshall then continued to drive erratically, repeatedly slamming on the brakes, further endangering his passengers. The woman feared for her and her daughters’ lives. After stopping in Emlenton, Marshall allegedly drove off on her motorcycle without permission. He is charged with two felony counts of endangering the welfare of children, a misdemeanor for recklessly endangering another person, and two traffic violations. Marshall is in Venango County jail awaiting a preliminary hearing.
