Narcotics Found Floating in Broward County Inlet

According to the most recent Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) weekly law enforcement report released this morning, Officers Comartin and Lopez were recently conducting water patrol at the Port Everglades Inlet when they received a call regarding narcotics found floating in the water.

While the total amount of narcotics found was not noted in the report, it did state that the officers were able to retrieve the narcotics from state waters and turned them over to the Fort Lauderdale Police Evidence Unit for further investigation.

There was no further information noted regarding where the narcotics may have first originated from.
