A man was arrested at Saddle Creek Park near Lakeland after calling 911 with a strange complaint about the lack of sidewalks, according to a social media post by the Polk County Sheriff's Office. The Polk County Sheriff's Office responded late at night after receiving the call. The man, who initially refused to disclose his location, was tracked down by deputies using 911 technology.

Upon arrival, deputies spoke with the man, who became uncooperative and refused to provide his identity. He was later identified as "Al." During the investigation, deputies discovered Al had a vape pen containing THC.

After being taken into custody, Al attempted to hide bags of marijuana and cocaine in the patrol vehicle's backseat. He now faces multiple charges, including misuse of 911, tampering with evidence, and possession of drugs and paraphernalia.
