On August 29, 2024, at approximately 12:22 p.m., the Broward Sheriff’s Office (BSO) responded to reports of gunfire near 245 N. Pompano Beach Blvd., Pompano Beach.

Upon arrival, deputies found Yadviga McConville and Sergey Moiseenko suffering from gunshot wounds.

Despite the efforts of Pompano Beach Fire Rescue, McConville was pronounced dead at the scene. Moiseenko was transported to Broward Health North in critical condition but was later pronounced deceased at the hospital.

Preliminary investigations suggest that Moiseenko shot McConville before turning the gun on himself.

Due to Marsy’s Law, additional details about McConville are not being released.

Moiseenko, a 44-year-old resident of 630 N.E. 14th Court, Apt. 102, Fort Lauderdale, has been identified as the suspect.

The circumstances of this incident remain under active investigation.
