The 69th Annual Farmer’s Day event

UNION, WV (WVNS) — The Town of Union will be celebrating one of their favorite traditions in the area that honors agriculture and community efforts.

The 69th Annual Farmer’s Day event, with their theme “Tractors and Tail Gates” will be taking place on Friday, June 7, 2024 to Saturday, June 8, 2024. The event will offer a ton of fun activities such as a street dance, a grand parade, a horse show, live music, food vendors, a fun walk, a pancake breakfast, an Andy Griffith trivia contest, a bounce house, a cruising car show, a grand fireworks display, a Farmer’s Day raffle, and much more!

Todd Belcher, the Farmer’s Day Chair for the 2024 Farmer’s Day Event shared how this event is beneficial to the community and why everyone should come out.

“There’s lots of free events for people to come out and just have some family fun, and enjoy the weekend, and it brings in a lot of revenue to the businesses that are thriving here,” said Belcher.
