20-year-old man killed in Hale County crash

HALE COUNTY, Ala. ( WIAT ) — A 20-year-old Uniontown man was killed in a single-vehicle crash Friday afternoon in Hale County, the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports.

Keyshawn Patterson was fatally injured when the Honda Accord he was driving left the road and hit a wood fence at least two times. The crash occurred on Alabama 69 about five miles north of Gallion around 1:56 p.m.

Patterson, who was not wearing a seat belt, was pronounced dead at the scene. Troopers with the ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division are investigating the crash.
