Homicide at 9800 Bruton Road
On July 21, 2024, at about 9:00 PM, Dallas police responded to a shooting call in the 9800 block of Bruton Road. The preliminary investigation determined when officers arrived, they found 44-year-old Keeman Bowens shot lying on the ground. Dallas Fire Rescue responded, and Bowens died at the scene. Further investigation identified the suspect as 25-year-old Iyanna Wells.
