Dotson will join an Eagles wide receivers room that includes A.J. Brown, DeVonta Smith, Parris Campbell, Johnny Wilson and Britain Covey, among others.

Earlier Thursday, the Commanders also were involved in a trade with the Cleveland Browns . They acquired kicker Cade York in exchange for a conditional seventh-round pick in that swap.
