Wednesday's opening ceremony kicks off with a procession of 4,400 athletes along Champs-Elysées before their arrival at Place de La Concorde.

"This ceremony at the heart of the city is a strong symbol illustrating our ambition to capitalize on our country hosting its first-ever Paralympic Games to position the issue of inclusion for people with disabilities at the heart of our society," said Tony Estanguet, president of the Paris 2024 Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Games.

The ceremony will incorporate four stages, and there will be approximately 65,000 people in attendance.

The Games will take place over 11 days, and include sports such as Para Swimming, Taekwondo, Archery and Table Tennis.

Like the Doodle for the 2024 Paris Olympics, Wednesday's Doodle includes cartoon birds . Instead of floating down the Seine, however, these ducks fly through the air.
