Notre Dame football can’t sway Texas receiver, commits to rival Big Ten program
The first to two big wide receiver dominoes has fallen for Notre Dame football, and unfortunately this one didn’t land the Irish’s way. Tanook Hines, a Texas native, had Notre Dame among his final schools, but on Monday afternoon he decided that the lure of Southern California was too much to say no too. The 6-foot, 1-inch and 185-pound receiver committed to USC, taking yet another prospect off the Irish’s recruiting board. The nation’s No. 355 overall player according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings decision hurts Notre Dame in multiple way, mostly that he opted to go to a rival school that is on the schedule in the future. #commited✌🏼 #AGTG pic.twitter.com/pipAhuHsYl — Tanook “Nu Nu” Hines⭐️ (@tanxxk16) July 15, 2024 Hopefully, Notre Dame’s luck changes soon as they await the decision of Nevada star receiver Derek Meadows. Early Outburst for Quakes Leads to 10-5 Loss for Ports in Series Finale
STOCKTON, Calif. — The Ports made it interesting in the middle innings against the Quakes on Sunday night, but Rancho Cucamonga won 10-5 in the series finale. The Quakes jumped out to an early 5-0 lead in the first, as Jackson Finley struggled with his command early on. He walked the first three batters of the game, and allowed a base hit and a grand slam for the five-run first. It was flipped around in the second inning, when he allowed four-straight hits to start a three-run inning that made it 8-0.

Mid Valley Sports Area Top 12
It’s too early for a High School Football Top 10 so let’s go 12. The “Dirty Dozen” if you will. It’s challenging piecing together a Top 10 or even a Top 12 in our coverage area when you have teams that range from Division 2 all the way to Division 14. There should probably be five different lists of the top teams. But we settled on one. All of the 7 on 7 passing tournaments have been played and we’re just a few weeks away from kicking off the 2024 campaign. Here we go.
