Martinsburg Man Sentenced to 12 Years for Hagerstown Shooting
In Hagerstown, Maryland, Kahleel Jamal Graham, 27, of Martinsburg, West Virginia, was sentenced to 12 years in state prison on Wednesday after pleading guilty to first-degree assault. The sentencing comes as a conclusion to the October 7 shooting incident in Hagerstown’s Jonathan Street neighborhood, which resulted in the injury of local resident Cedric Williams.
Chambersburg Hospital nurse charged with falsifying medical records of patient who died
18 July 2024- A woman who was, at the time, a nurse at WellSpan Chambersburg Hospital is facing charges from the Pennsylvania Office of the Attorney General following the death of a patient and questions being raised about morphine amounts. Sara Rae Miller has been charged with three misdemeanor counts of furnishing false/fraudulent material information. She is being served a summons for this case and has not been arraigned.
Letterkenny Hosts Inaugural Oktoberfest Celebration

It’s time for the 2024 Hopewell Township Photo Contest!
Any amateur photographers out there? Hopewell Township residents can submit up to four images taken in Hopewell Township for our annual contest. Pictures must have been taken between October 31, 2023 and October 31, 2024 and are due by 11:59pm on October 31, 2024. Voting will take place in November and winners will be announced in 2025. Winners will have their pictures featured in the 2025 Municipal Calendar and hung in the Municipal Building Auditorium for the year.

The Chambersburg Recreation Department is holding a Summer Splash Camp Monday, July 29, through Friday, Aug. 2, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Chambersburg Aquatic Center, 1 Washabaugh Way, Chambersburg, Pa. Group games, activities, mini golf, basketball or volleyball, and swimming. Swim skill test will be given the first day of camp to determine swim ability and to identify areas of the facility that may be used. $69 ($59 for borough residents). In a disturbing incident in Franklin County, 75-year-old Robert Clem of Greencastle is facing serious charges after severely injuring his girlfriend’s kitten.
