Man fatally shot in the head in the Bronx: NYPD
THE BRONX, N.Y. (PIX11) — A man was fatally shot in the head in the Bronx on Sunday, according to police. The man was found near 2010 Bruckner Blvd. around 4 p.m., police said. He was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead. No arrests have been made, according to police.

NJ Transit, Amtrak service partially resumed between NYC, Philly after downed wires
NEW YORK CITY - NJ Transit and Amtrak train service has partially resumed between New York City and Philadelphia after downed overhead wires, officials said. "Due to downed utility wires on the tracks, Train 670 is canceled between Trenton (TRE) and New York (NYP)," Amtrak said on X at 5:57 p.m.

Brewers add to bullpen depth with trade for inconsistent reliever
The Mets have dealt left-hander Tyler Jay to the Brewers in exchange for minor league right-hander TJ Shook, per a club announcement. Jay had been designated for assignment by New York last week to make room for lefty Alex Young on the club’s 40-man roster.
