Ascend Elements construction progressing, hiring process underway
Work is progressing full steam ahead at the construction site of the future Ascend Elements location near Pembroke, and the company has already begun the hiring process. They hosted a job fair recently to fill numerous positions, and South Western Kentucky Economic Development Council Executive Director Carter Hendricks says officials were well pleased with the turn-out at their job fair—and they’re looking to keep on hiring.

HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – A special graduation ceremony was held at Challenge House #7 Friday night as teens completed the annual AT&T program. The Attitude, Training, and Teamwork summer program allows high school teens to learn about different career paths and job shadow. On July 19, they were given their graduation certificates, a $200 paycheck for their hard work. As a surprise, representatives from the AT&T company gifted each of them a laptop and backpack with school supplies.
