Early Closures Announced Friday For Jennie Stuart Health Locations
As companies and healthcare facilities continue to experience issues following the Microsoft outage, some Jennie Stuart Health offices closed early Friday. The Medical Imaging Center (Eagle Way Bypass Campus) and Express Lab (Eagle Way Bypass Campus) will close at 10:00 AM. A rezoning vote that could permit a super-sized recreational vehicle (RV) and “glamping” park to be built on farmland near Midway, Kentucky, got postponed from July 11 to Aug. 8, setting up the next clash in what has been a three-year civic and legal battle over whether a commercial operation of such a massive scale is right for the low-key city of 1,700 residents and the numerous horse farms in the area.

Survivor returns to Georgetown to thank first responders who saved her life
GEORGETOWN, Ky. (FOX 56) — A cardiac arrest survivor has returned to Georgetown/Scott County EMS to meet the people who played a crucial role in saving her life. First responders called it an emotional and rewarding experience to see Mrs. Thacker in good health. The team had previously used lifesaving measures when she went into cardiac arrest.
