Stronger smoke-free laws are needed
In 2024 only 31 percent of Hoosiers are protected from secondhand smoke around the clock. Lung cancer is always a public concern. One of the largest impacts states, counties, and cities can do to protect our people is pass strong smoke free air laws in all public places. These laws protect everyone from deadly secondhand smoke.
Honeywell, ARC receive Half-Century Awards
Two local businesses were honored during the annual Indiana Century and Half Century Awards ceremony on Aug. 15 in Indianapolis.
