While kickers may not always be the first players on your mind when drafting your NFL fantasy football team , it's worth noting that they can sometimes outperform field stars in terms of fantasy points. This strategic insight could give you an edge in your team selection.

When it comes to the position of fantasy football manager, the Dallas Cowboys' Pro Bowl kicker, Brandon Aubrey , is an exceptional first choice. Aubrey's performance speaks for itself – he led the NFL with field goals made and was perfect outside of 50 yards, recording 180 fantasy points last season. His NFL record of 35 straight field goals to begin his career and a perfect 10-for-10 record from the 50-yard line and beyond are testament to his skill. In his first season, Aubrey made 36 out of 38 field goal attempts, demonstrating remarkable reliability in his position.
