Michigan State football to host fundraiser for teammate's family

The Michigan State community has rallied around one their own in recent days. To help support safety Armorion Smith and his family after his mother’s recent health diagnosis, the This is Sparta podcast will partner with the Lansing McDonald’s to raise money for the family.

The event will be on Saturday, August 31, and will feature a live episode of This is Sparta, hosted by Jason Strayhorn and Sedrick Irvin. Furthermore, meet and greets will be available for some of the Spartans fan favorites including Aidan Chiles, Jordan Hall, Nick Marsh and Dillon Tatum.

McDonald’s will donate 15% of all sales to the family between 2-5 p.m.
