    PFF releases grades from Broncos' first preseason game

    Pro Football Focus has released grades from the Denver Broncos‘ preseason opener against the Indianapolis Colts, a 34-30 win on the road.

    Denver wide receiver Brandon Johnson was the team’s highest-graded player on offense with an overall grade of 81.4, according to PFF. He was followed by offensive tackles Matt Peart (81.0) and Demontrey Jacobs (78.8). Marvin Mims (73.3) had the second-best grade among receivers.

    Bo Nix (71.4) was the team’s highest-graded quarterback, followed by Jarrett Stidham (66.3) and then Zach Wilson (56.3).

    On the other side of the ball, Broncos inside linebacker Alex Singleton was the team’s highest-graded defender with an overall grade of 89.9. He was followed by pass rusher Jonathon Cooper (86.0) and cornerback Kris Abrams-Draine (80.7). All of the team’s other defenders were graded lower than 80. View more PFF grades below.

    Best defensive lineman: Malcolm Roach (74.5)

    Best center: Sam Mustipher (70.8)

    Best running back: Javonte Williams (68.0)

    Worst running back: Samaje Perine (46.5)
