Texas A&M head coach Mike Elko and his staff are putting the finishing touches on the Aggies’ 2025 recruiting class. The cycle is currently in the top 10 of the team rankings after landing a huge commitment from 4-star defensive lineman DJ Sanders last week.

While the focus slowly shifts to the 2026 recruiting class, it was recently reported that one of the top signal callers in the 2026 cycle is headed to College Station for Texas A&M’s 2024 season opener vs. Notre Dame , which will also serve as Elko’s inaugural campaign.

Set to enter his junior season at Corner Canyon HS in Draper, Utah, Casuga fits the mold of Aggie OC Collin Klein’s ideal quarterback. The Utah native has an impressive arm and accuracy while showing the ability to make plays out of structure.

According to On3 recruiting analyst Steve Wiltfong, Casuga is now predicted to land with Texas A&M over Utah, USC , and Oregon .

Casuga threw over 6,475 yards and 60 touchdowns in his last two seasons, including 4,145 yards and 34 touchdowns during his 2023 sophomore season.

According to On3, Casuga is currently the 20th-ranked quarterback in the class and the fourth-ranked player in Utah.
