Nebraska baseball coach Will Bolt agreed to an extension on Tuesday for the program. The program’s social media officially announced the deal. According to a press release , the agreement runs through the 2029 season, and Bolt will receive an annual salary of $500,000 .

Bolt and the program experienced success this past season. The team finished with a 40-22 record, which included a 16-8 record in the conference and an 18-8 mark at home. The Huskers won the Big Ten tournament for the first time in program history and made it to the Stillwater regional at the end of May.
