On the San Antonio Spurs in the 2024-25 NBA Cup

The NBA’s in-season tournament has itself a new name for the 2024-25 season, rebranded as the NBA Cup . And there are already a host of intriguing games in place scheduled to be played in it come fall. From the Golden State Warriors vs. the Dallas Mavericks, to the Philadelphia 76ers vs. New York Knicks and the Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Boston Celtics, there are several must-see tilts scheduled.

But our favorite of them is the San Antonio Spurs vs. Los Angeles Lakers contest. Fans of the former team will be stoked to use as a measuring stick for where this version of the Spurs is in their rebuild.
