According to a report from The Athletic’s Andrew Marchand, Robert Griffin III has gone from a potential superstar analyst at ESPN to unemployment after being fired by the World Leader in a round of budget cuts.

The Heisman Trophy winner was dismissed with two years left on his deal at ESPN.

Griffin III was replaced on Monday Night Countdown by former Eagles great Jason Kelce, but he was still designated for his dynamic college football coverage.

Griffin III played seven seasons for the Redskins, Ravens, and Browns, throwing for 9,271 yards career and 43 touchdowns.

He was selected to play in one Pro Bowl and won the Offensive Rookie of the Year award during the 20212 season with Washington. In three years with the Ravens, Griffin III played in 14 games, logging 288 yards passing, one touchdown, and four interceptions.
