The Georgia Bulldogs have the top incoming freshmen class in college football. Head coach Kirby Smart and Georgia signed 29 recruits in the 2024 recruiting cycle including five five-stars, per 247Sports.

Georgia’s incoming freshmen class will help the Bulldogs replace their eight 2024 NFL draft picks. Georgia’s freshmen will have to learn the ropes quickly because the Dawgs’ season opener is against a talented Clemson team.

The secondary is one area where a pair of Georgia freshmen could see immediate playing time. Five-star safety recruit KJ Bolden is expected to compete for snaps with Dan Jackson. Georgia is looking for some to emerge to start opposite of junior safety Malaki Starks.

Additionally, five-star cornerback Ellis Robinson, who was the No. 1 player at his position in the class of 2024, is hoping to see snaps in Georgia’s defensive backs rotation. Cornerback Daylen Everette is expected to man the No. 1 cornerback role, but who will start at the other outside cornerback position is murkier. Daniel Harris and Julian Humphrey are considered the favorites to fill the other role at outside cornerback, but don’t be surprised if Robinson works his way into the rotation.

There’s no doubt that Georgia’s incoming freshmen will make a significant impact despite the ridiculous amount of talent that Georgia’s roster returns.
