Reacting to the San Antonio Spurs getting 21 national TV games for the 2024-25 season

There is something afoot in the state of Texas, with the San Antonio Spurs making some significant changes to their roster to boost the level of help rising star forward Victor Wembanyama has around him for the 2024-25 NBA season ahead.

And after watching Wemby not only win the league’s Rookie of the Year award but to make All-Defensive First Team and then come in second in Defensive Player of the Year voting, it’s not hard to get why interest is piqued in the Spurs. And that interest has been reflected in the league electing to give San Antonio a total of 21 games that will be broadcast on national television for the 2024-25 regular season.
