Watch: Newly signed Rams DT Carlos Watkins records strip-sack in 1st game

The Los Angeles Rams added some depth to their defensive line this week when they signed veteran Carlos Watkins, bringing in a proven player to help behind the starters up front. He wasted no time making an impact on defense, showing up in his first preseason game on Saturday.

In the third quarter, Watkins got home for a sack, jarring the ball loose in the process as he brought Luis Perez to the ground. The Rams recovered and took over in Chargers territory, making it a big play for Watkins and the defense as a whole.
