It’s no secret that Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid is an incredible leader. His steady presence has helped guide the team to three Super Bowl victories, and as Kansas City strives to achieve the first three-peat in NFL history this season, one former player spilled the beans on what makes Reid so special.

Geoff Schwartz, who briefly played for the Chiefs during Reid’s first season in Kansas City, took to Twitter to share a story from his time with the seasoned head coach.

Though experiences may vary from player to player, Schwartz’s remarks served to give fans a better perspective on what life on one of Reid’s terms is like:

Things don’t seem to have changed much since Schwartz’s tenure with the Chiefs, and as Kansas City prepares for the 2024 regular season, Reid is sure to be connecting with his players the same way he did back in 2013.
