The Minnesota Vikings (2-0) visit the Philadelphia Eagles (2-0) Saturday for the finale of both teams’ preseason schedules. Kickoff from Lincoln Financial Field is scheduled for 1 p.m. ET. Below, we analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s lines around the Vikings vs. Eagles odds, and make our expert NFL picks and predictions.

The Vikings easily handled the Browns 27-12 last Saturday to cover as 2.5-point road underdogs as the Over (33) hit. QB Nick Mullens completed 11 of 21 passes for 135 yards and a touchdown, while QB Jaren Hall made the most of his time completing 4 of 5 for 87 yards and 2 TDs.

The Eagles squeaked past the host Patriots 14-13 Thursday, Aug. 15 as 3-point dogs with the Under (34) cashing. QB Tanner McKee went 15-for-19 for 140 yards and QB Kenny Pickett finished 11 of 13 for 67 yards.

Vikings at Eagles picks and predictions

    Prediction

    Vikings 17, Eagles 13

    BET VIKINGS (+115).

The Vikings defense stepped up last week against the Browns, allowing just 12 points. Meanwhile, Minnesota’s offense scored 24 or more points in each of its preseason games, and it is expected to do so again Saturday.

The Eagles have allowed exactly 13 points in each of their preseason contests but scored just enough to win both. They scored 16 in an opening 3-point win at the Ravens and as mentioned, scored 14 at the Pats.

While this should be a close game, the Vikings at plus-money are a good wager.

    PASS.

The moneyline has better value for the Vikings.

    BET UNDER 33.5 (-110).

Again, the Eagles have allowed 13 points in each game and the Vikings yielded 12 points in last week’s game. While both teams have solid offenses, it is clear their defenses are steadfast. Expect a low-scoring game even with a lower total.
