Report: Eagles waive DE Tarron Jackson ahead of 53-man roster deadline

As the Eagles take steps to trim their roster down to 53 players, a 2021 NFL draft pick has been released. Andrew DiCecco reports that Tarron Jackson has been waived ahead of Tuesday’s cut-down deadline.

The Eagles select Tarron Jackson with the No. 191 pick in Round 5 of the 2021 draft.

A high-motor player lacking size as a pass rusher, Jackson has 11 tackles in 18 games, with one sack and one forced fumble. This preseason could be his final attempt at carving out a role on an NFL roster.
