Watch Nick Saban thriving in retirement as he stars in a VRBO commercial

For years, we have all questioned how a football-obsessed man like Nick Saban would someday handle retirement. So far, he’s been an absolute homerun, excelling in several things like appearing on College GameDay and becoming a commercial TV star for Aflac.

Despite always being known as a hard-nosed, gritty football coach, Saban has a playful and loving-natured side that we see more now in his life post-football. This week, Saban debuted in a hilarious new commercial with VRBO where he pretends to be an overbearing homeowner.

As fans of the Alabama Crimson Tide, it is so fun to see him enjoying his much-earned retirement, and it sure helps that the Tide landed a superstar successor in Kalen DeBoer. But all of us will still miss having Saban on the sidelines this fall.

The Crimson Tide kick off their 2024 campaign with a visit from the Hilltoppers of Western Kentucky at 6:00 p.m. on ESPN tomorrow.
