New Orleans Saints WR Chris Olave has been impressive in 2 NFL seasons. Selected 11th overall in the 2022 NFL Draft, Olave has been an integral part of the Saints offense. Below, we look at Chris Olave’s 2024 fantasy football average draft position (ADP) and where you should draft him.

Entering 2024, he is expected to take another big step in his development and ideally will rise to a top-10 or top-5 WR in the league. The acrobatic receiver is intriguing in terms of fantasy value.

Olave has an ADP of 27.96 in redraft leagues, which puts him in the range of the 3rd to 5th round, depending on the size of the league.

Among wide receivers, Olave’s ADP puts him 11th at the position, behind the likes of Cooper Kupp (Los Angeles Rams, 26.37), Davante Adams (Las Vegas Raiders, 22.47), Puka Nacua (Los Angeles Rams, 16.96), Marvin Harrison Jr. (Arizona Cardinals, 16.34), and Garrett Wilson (New York Jets, 14.97).

    Where should you draft Olave?

Olave’s fantasy value should continue to see similar numbers as it has in years past. He is the top target for QB Derek Carr.

As he continues to become more and more experienced in the NFL, while forming a deeper connection with Carr, he should see his targets-to-receptions ratio start to even out. He was targeted 138 times last season with 87 receptions.

With RBs Alvin Kamara and Jamaal Williams rushing the ball — not to mention Kamara’s threat as a receiver — Olave can create more space, which translates directly to his fantasy value.

Draft Olave in the 2nd or 3rd round. There are other aforementioned receivers who you should take before Olave, but he is the Saints WR1 and will produce as such, even with Carr who is not a top QB. When healthy, he’s good for 90-100 catches and 1,200-plus yards. He’s even more valuable in PPR leagues because of how often he’s targeted.
