Peyton Manning ranks NFL's top 5 quarterbacks in 2024

Speaking at a Fanatics Fest event in New York City last month, Pro Football Hall of Famer and five-time NFL MVP Peyton Manning gave his list of the top five quarterbacks in the league going into the 2024 season.

“Patrick Mahomes is No. 1,” Manning said. “Now, ratings are so hard, you get in so much trouble, you get mad about that — I’m a big fan of Joe Burrow, all right? I’m glad to see him back healthy. I like the way he carries himself. … This Justin Herbert is as talented as anybody. … Lamar Jackson does things that just don’t seem possible with the football in his hands. … Josh Allen is so motivated to bring a championship to Buffalo.”

Tom Brady was also at the event and he gave his own rankings for the top four QBs: Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson and Joe Burrow.

Denver Broncos fans will hope Bo Nix could be a candidate to one day join these lists. He already has the backing of Manning.

“He’ll be ready, and [I’m] pulling hard for him,” Manning said last month.
